Case Study
72 Services
Logo Design
Intro
72 Services logo redesign. 72 Services help small, medium, and large businesses in such diverse fields as wholesale, retail, manufacturing, education and government with the renovation of their legacy IT systems.
The Brief
I was tasked with the job of recreating 72 Services existing logo. The client wasn’t happy with their existing logo and wanted something more in-keeping with their services. I really enjoy working on projects like this one. It’s nice to help a company freshen up for the future.
Logo Redesign
I knew that the logo needed to include a 7 and a 2. This was due to the trademark the client had on their logo. I spent some time sketching ideas and figuring out how best to show the two elements. I probably sketched out nearly 20 ideas and the client chose this one. Where 7 is part of the 2’s negative space. Also, the triangle of the logo that is within the 7 fits perfectly behind the 2. So it was like a part of the 2 made the 7.
I also made sure that the logo can fit within a square shape. This was to make it easier to use across different media and social platforms.
Stationery Design
Carrying the new logo and branding colours throughout. I also created a business card design and a door sign for their office door.
This was a fun project to work on and I hope to work on many more in the future. If you have an existing logo you would like redesigned please get in contact!
