Logo Design
Intro
Our group of friends, who play Dungeons and Dragons, embarked on a passion project adventure. This project was to create the ultimate pub logo design.
The Process
The project kicked off with numerous rough sketches, which I captured in my trusty A3 sketchbook. I was determined to perfect the logo, so I devoted a considerable amount of time researching old pub logo designs. Carefully consider what elements the pub logo design should include.
With the completion of my initial sketches, I took the lead in designing the final product. I combined elements from each drawing to create a cohesive design. My aim was to achieve a badge-like appearance that would look appealing on any printed or digital media.
The Background
The tavern had been purchased by our characters in one of our Dungeons and Dragons campaign sessions. We wanted a logo to commemorate this special moment.
Colour Options
To ensure versatility, I made certain that the logo design could be used in black or white versions. This would also make the logo suitable for any background colour. To confirm that the logo works well on all backgrounds, I initially designed it in black.
