Logo Design
Intro
South Coast Engineering Services logo design for a local engineering company. This was a logo design project I worked on for a friends new business. The logo needed to incorporate a logo mark and a blue and orange colour scheme.
The Process
As with all my logo design projects I started off with some sketches in my trusty A3 sketchbook. The client wanted a logo mark to go along with the company name to use on various media. I knew I wanted to combine the S for South with an electrical bolt. Using the S as the electrical bolt worked really well. To give the logo more context I placed the bolt on top of a cog to show another side of engineering.
Final Thoughts
Overall I’m really happy with how this project turned out. This was also a fast track turnaround as the client needed the logo within a week. If you need a logo quick then please do not hesitate to get in contact.
The Colour Palette
The colour palette for the South Coast Engineering Services logo design was chosen by the client. They wanted a nice blue and orange theme used throughout. I was happy with this as they are complimentary colours.
