Westleigh Dental Care
Logo Design
Website Design
Intro
Westleigh Dental Care is a Fareham-based dental surgery. Providing private dental care to their clients.
The Brief
Westleigh Dental Care wanted a complete rebrand when the surgery went under different management. This project not only included a rebrand and new logo but a website design too.
The team at Westleigh wanted a nice, clean logo and colours that represent fresh and clean.
The Challenge
The new dental logo needed to include the full name, which is quite long. I needed to come up with a design that worked well both in a long horizontal form and a smaller square lockup for social networks.
Branding for Westleigh Dental Care
I started off the project with some sketches in my trusty sketchbook. From there I chose the 3 best designs that answered the brief. I knew I wanted to have blue as the brand colour but not just one. With the 3 dashes in the logo I made sure each one was a different shade.
The branding was carried on through out the website and all other media the dental surgery needed.
Marketing Website Design
Now that the new branding was established, the challenge of designing the custom marketing web design with little to no imagery began. I had to source some tasteful stock photography and use that throughout the website.
Custom WordPress Development
Whilst building the WordPress website I made sure to test it thoroughly on mobile devices and different browsers. Therefore, with more people browsing on their phones, I had to make sure the website worked great on mobile devices too.
The Results
The client was very happy with the results of the entire project from start to finish. It was great to work on everything from logo design to the full WordPress marketing website. The main goals for the new website were for it to be responsive and to showcase its services.
Working with Young Air Conditioning was a great challenge and I’m happy that they entrusted me with their entire website project.
