About the Project
Fern from Lilac Library’s approached me to redesign their existing library logo design. With an already well-established brand and a large following on Instagram, it was important to maintain the essence of their identity while refining the design.
I created a simplified, modernised version of the logo and provided multiple variations to ensure versatility across different applications. Additionally, I introduced a horizontal version, which was missing from the original branding, allowing for seamless integration across various media, including packaging, banners, and more.
The Problem
The previous logo was too detailed and didn’t work well at small sizes like social media profile images. We wanted to stick as close to the original logo as possible but just tidy things up and supply multiple colour options. Also, the previous logo did not have a vector version so that was a must for printed materials.
